Kindergarten to 4th Graders

Our children’s classes offer a variety of activities such as; a wide assortment of crafts, science, games, music, cooking, baking and more.

Pottery

From beginners to experienced potters, we have a class for you! Our pottery studio houses a slab roller, wheels, glazes and a variety of tools. Come join this fun opportunity to meet new friends while playing in clay! Ages 10 on up.

Painting

Have you always wanted to dabble in paint? This is the place for you! Beginners and experienced participants learn new techniques or practice with experienced artists. Different mediums. Ages 10 and above.

Puzzle Gathering

If you are between the ages of 4 or 104 (or older) and you would like to socialize with friends (old or new) prior to Wednesday Night Dinner, then the Puzzle Gathering group is for you!

Kitchen Classes

There are many opportunities here! One session might be cooking a meal for Preston Taylor Ministries high schoolers. Another may be baking bread for the seniors in independent living and nursing homes. Or you may be asked to bake cookies for the homeless, our refugee friends, college students, or as Joy in Learning class snacks. Ages 10 and above.

Telling Your Story

We all have stories. Here you will find confidence and encouragement to write them down and to share with others, if you wish. No experience necessary. Adult class.

Punch Needle, Weave & Sew

This is a fun textile class! Create a woven or punch needle piece and then sew into a pillow case, purse, iPhone carrier, and other ideas! We have 6 table looms and one floor loom plus many sewing machines and punch needle kits for you to try. It’s an amazing creative-filled room! Ages 10 and above.

Join Stewart Hall, who will represent Tennessee at the 2021 US Open in chess, leads this class! For all levels, ages 10 and above.
